I want a pair of IEMs to upgrade to from my Shure SE110. I find that the SE110s have NO bass at all. I don't need a lot but enough to make my music listening experience enjoyable. I am looking at the SuperFi 5 (v2) and the vi (with mic) version is about $15 cheaper than the pair without. Also in that price range ($80) I see that the Klipsch S4 is respectable. I listen to ALL music so I just need a good all around IEM.

Thank you.

I've had both(my S4 actually got lost/stolen and I replaced it with the SF5v2).  If you want bass, the S4 would probably fit your needs much better, and is a better bang for buck.

Don't give me that "best bang for buck". They are the same damn price on Amazon. $75 for SuperFi5 vi and $80 for the S4.

Did not know that, I paid ~$120 IIRC for my SF5s.  But still, if I had to do it again I would have skipped the SF5s and just got a replacement S4s.  Right now the connector on my SF5 is broken and waiting for a new connector in the mail(and smaller tips); but it's pretty much my workout headphone since they're small profile and pretty light.

I've heard both, voted for the SuperFi 5. The S4 had a sibilance/harshness issue on the upper mids that I could not get used to. The S4 does have more voluminous bass, but the SF5 has an enjoyable taut low end as well.

I don't know about downside, but they may have a one button control that works with ipod touch for play, pause, next and previous track. one single button. I find it great

I do not need the mic on the SuperFi 5vi. Are there any downsides to having it?

Yeah but I don't have an iPod. Hate iTunes. So I use my Droid as my music player. Which headphone has better sound quality. I don't care if it lacks bass, anything would be an improvement over the Shure SE110's bass.
