good meet. next time I will be at a meet expect at least the gilmore balanced reference, gilmore solid state with blue hawaii tube output stage, and STAX Omega II's added to my list of stuff I'll have.

I didn't really listen to most of the stuff, and don't remember much anyways (might want to sleep more the night before), but I did like the audio technica and grado cans (all mine) more than the Senns. They were great to listen to but compared to what I already have I don't feel that I need to get them. I was hoping more for others to hear the high end grado and AT cans anyways so I did do what I wanted to do today. I think they were a hit!!

NeilPeart is wearing them in the first photo. I would love to hear some L3000 comments also.

he's wearing something like $5000 to $6000 worth of my headphones in that picture. lol. PS-1 on his head, ATH-L3000 around the neck, HP-2 in his right hand, and the ATH-W2002 in his left hand.

just so you guys know, I got the PS-1 yesterday and they have 15 to 20 hours on them at most. all the other cans are burned in well. now, where are all the impressions?

Alexander,

Thanks for hosting. Got to hear some amazing gear.

In no particular order:

raif's computer setup with the Benchmark DAC/HD650s. First time listening to
a highend computer source. Very impressed.

NeilPeart's Corda Ha-2 with the complement of Senns and ATs

Pete's or Alex's HD650 w/ Zu Mobius cable and the HD600/Equinox. Compared to my HD600/Cardas and we three different beasts.

Without even being broken in, the PS-1's sounded great. I enjoyed it's
mid's better then any of the other Grados there. Can't wait to hear them
later when they are burned in.

My favorite combo was the Grace DAC/amp with the AT2002 or AT Leatherhead

Sorry, didn't try to differentiate between the
two AT cans. Both sounded heavenly to me.

I especially enjoyed everyone's company. A class group of individuals.

Thanks for navigating Neilpeart. Let's do it again sometime.

Bruce (utep10)
