Ag is chemical symbol for Silver, therefore twag is "The Wire Silver"
SPC is the acronym for Silver Plated Copper, therefore twspc is "The Wire Silver Plated Copper"

I changed some things on TWag a few months back, hence the v2 designation to differentiate it from the original TWag.

Generally, hook up wire is insulated wire that is used internally. On our website I believe Craig used that term mostly to convey that it is just standalone wire for DIY'ers. TWag (Silver), TWspc (Silver Plated Copper), and TWcu (Copper) are all stranded wires, where SCSCag (Silver) is solid. What exactly do you mean by any other differences between standard wire?
