Skipped it this year. Too many disappointments at too high a price in the past. I did receive the 6LP Fela box set #3 on Friday, though, because, owning the complete Fela (27CD) box, along with a number of other pressings, including his LP box sets #1&2 are not enough.

+1  The last few times I have had to resort to eBay to get what I wanted anyhow so I decided not to deal with the mayhem.  Plus there wasn't much that I wanted this year.

just recently bought a Pro-ject Essential II which came with the Ortofon OM5E and was curious as to what might be a good eventual upgrade; Ortofon 2M Red or Grado Green or Blue?

You can use an OM20 stylus in that cartridge body I believe, which would be a nice upgrade. IIRC, that's been a popular upgrade.

I was thinking about the same - but  the Stylus 20, as it is correctly called, is pricier than entire 2M Red. But it is roughly an equivalent of 2M Blue, so it still makes $en$e.
 
Better yet would be getting a Digitrac 300SE P-mount cartridge http://www.turntableneedles.com/Digitrac-Cartridge-300SE_p_2826.html (for the USA customers ) or 
http://www.ebay.com/itm/400198106489?rmvSB=true#shpCntId (you can ask Thakker if he can deliver to your adress ) - it is an equivalent of Stylus 30.  All it is required to mate the Ortofon made Digitrac stylus to an Ortofon OM cartridge is cutting off a small tab of plastic - a 5 second operation with a sharp knife. That saves one some 50 $ compared to buying Stylus 30 and gives you a free P-mount cartridge to boot.
 
These Digitracs used to be dirt cheap - the law of supply and demand still works...

The one with the round dot symbol is for conical/spherical styli (usually requiring less antiskating ).
 
The one with the elipsoid shape is for the elliptical styli (usually requiring more antiskating).
 
AT 51S cart has a conical stylus .
