Over the past few months I've been using my DX90 / ATH-M50x combo as a travel setup, and since I've been traveling quite a bit for work I've been listening to music through headphones more often than normal.  Unfortunately, I've experienced ear "fullness" (the only way I can describe it - the feeling of the ears needing to pop, but they won't) after a longer listening session (more than 2 hours).  I stopped for a week and the feeling went away, but I just tried listening again the other day and the feeling came back - less pronounced than before, but still.  I typically keep the volume around 70%, so I don't think it's volume related.

My question is whether people think that switching to an open headphone or on ear headphone design would help remedy the situation, assuming there is less pressure created with one of those options.  Thanks in advance for the help!
