I recently purchase an X3vIII, I'd like to couple this with an A5 balanced amp. I'm having difficulty finding a short TRRS jumper to connect the player to the amp. Does anyone know where I can purchase one? I'm surprised FiiO doesn't offer one.

Which A5 are we talking here? If we are talking about FiiO A5, that is not a balanced amp at all.. X3 mk3, like other FiiO DAPs, probably has the balanced (line) output built into the custom micro-USB port - you will need either the FiiO K5 desktop amp or the DK1 dock to the balanced line signal out. If you don't mind double amping, then the 2.5mm balanced headphone-out will do the trick. Then again, you will need an actual balanced amp too.

Thanks for the quick reply. You're right, I don't know what made me think the Fiio A5 balanced. Having gone back to the Fiio website it appears the
Q1 Mark II is balanced but only with an iPhone as input. Hopefully Fiio will offer an amp compatible with their DAPs in the future.
