For the very last time please:

It's not 'the wait' that's frustrating. Understand?

I'm getting so fed up with people calling out 'impatience' or 'demanding' or 'impetuous'

It's the misinformation that keeps suggesting it'll be soon, or it's shipped, or next week. Etc etc.

Whenever a deadline is stated, then moved, then excused and moved again it's a pointless let down. Pointless. The only thing it achieves is bad feeling.

All we want is a date, we can rely on. Then I, and I expect others, will be happy and sit quiet.

Is that so hard for some of you to grasp?

How does the phantom master 4 compare to the trinity atlas?

I am by no means experienced when it comes to describing iems but i would say...

more detailed overall especially in terms of instrument separation and stage (depending on track / master);
more controlled bass (no bloat, faster decay?);
Hotter on the treble overall but can be tamed with the filters to some degree.

I find atlas better with hip hop and instrumentals, rock and generally less technical and laid back music.

I prefer the PM4 for jazz, classical and with a switch of filter, trance and other EDM.

I have found my experiences with IEMs differs from a lot of reviewers so maybe i hear things differently or just try and explain what i hear in the wrong way!

I'm pretty sure almost everyone agrees. :) We're due for a @Bobtrinity update, I think.

I totally agree. One or two pictures of final Hunter/PM6 would have made a difference too. That along with not showing those two at CanJam does not exactly increase confidence...Just my opinion.

My guess is that like any other Trinity model it was a limited run  for 2000 pieces and a new model will be launched later this year, or maybe like you suggested the PM6 and Hunter are simply not ready, because no matter what the reason is, having it during CanJam is huge and show the direction of the brand.

It is way more spacious, very good channel separation. Extended midst and highs. Really nice on decent quality recordings but unforgiving on low quality ones. If you can drive it balanced, it's another step up... I have one pair left that I won't need anymore soon. ;-)

Hah, nice.

No I've been really enjoying the trinity atlas lately. They're pretty much the main IEMs I use. They're much easier to drive than the Meelectronic Pinnacle P1, they're less veiled than the echobox finder X1 (although these have great detail), and they have more refinement than the Shozy Zero (these ones sound fantastic, and are also a great beater pair). All of these earphones I have are amazing, and I probably won't be doing any side stepping in the 200 dollar range any time soon. If I upgrade IEMs again it's going to be something in the 500 dollar range.

I guess I just ask because I'm always curious about this sort of thing.

I was also blown away by the amount of accessories that come with the trinity atlas. I probably will never break all of the replacement cables it came with in my entire life, or lose all of those replacement ear tips. I also prefer the purple tuners. They're a bit less vivacious than the yellow ones, and more natural.

Really? It sees from the past 30-odd pages that's it's exactly this issue of lateness too, not just a lack of info. And I can read perfectly fine.

I did like the Atlas very much. Used it as my daily drivers until PM4, then always for workout and casual listening. I have yet to find a replacement...
