TRINITY - PHANTOM Series - New thread + WORLDS FIRST PUSH PULL HYBRID IEM!*

Yup.  With pre-order and Head-Fi discounts you're looking at  £87.20 versus £160.    But as you say the Hunter is out of your budget, the PM6 is out of my self-imposed cap.

Basically all my audio equipment was bought before I retired a decade ago.  That save the recent computer and portable audio stuff which is recent on a retiree's budget.

And, as an aside,  the Hunter is a tad above £500.

I believe that you can't use Head-Fi discount for those.

You can use discount on Hunter(£400). Great price for TOTL

Almost want to keep M4, price is too good. But the M6 is clear step and great price now esp for those of us in USA

Sorry.  You guys are right.... The PM6 is £200 as I factored the HeadFi discount in error.  Makes the PM4 @£87.20 even more attractive.

Okay I went searching and can't find where Bob said anything about the Head-Fi discount NOT applying to the PM6.  Not doubting you guys... just can't find it.

On the other hand I did find where the HeadFi discount does NOT apply to the Hunter:

"Hunter price is fixed on our site and we are not discounting pre orders as this is an expensive bit of kit to make."

Seems to be too much confusion about what is and what isn't.

Might be a good idea if the opening post is updated appropriately.

And for clarification about the PM6 components:

"I don't mind saying, saves some idiot doing a tear down later, on the Master 6 it uses 1 x 33AJ007i/9 and 1 x 26-E25WT in conjunction with the twin 7mm titanium drivers."

Bob while I have your attention. Not sure if its within the rules to ask....would you say Master 6 is smooth with no over emphasis in lows, mids and higher frequencies.  It just the highs for my ears can get in some cases too bright and fatiguing?

Bobtrinity If you can give more detail description about M4, M6 & Hunter on trinity website, these kind of question can be answer without breaking head-fi rules

Thank you.  But now I'm really confused.  The PM6 is ineligible but is the Hunter or not?

Again I'm not in the market for the Hunter but clarification would aid others.

The quote is just an explanation of why the Hunter does not have a pre-order discount. Many have used the discount on the Hunter (including myself) and have mentioned it here, Bob has never said anything about it and no orders have been rejected to my knowledge. The M6 is the only one (so far) that has expressly disallowed the discount codes, both on the store page and from Bobs mouth(/keyboard) in this thread.

Thanks for the "sanity check!"  It's appreciated.

If we create an account on the trinity site and buy their products, can we use some discount by their reward program?

It says right in the item description of the PM-6 that DISCOUNT CODES OR VOUCHERSCANNOT BE USED ON THIS PRODUCT. ANY ORDERS PLACED USING DISCOUNT VOUCHERS OR CODES WILL BE CANCELLED AND REFUNDED.  This is the only one you can't use it on.

The confusion is special or discount price. Hunter is £500

But the headfi member discount applies.

What makes M4 so special is a discount price and headfi member discount oth apply.
