Here's hoping the pre-order discount is decent for the Hunter - I know Bob mentioned it wouldn't be much due to the materials being used but just hoping whatever does come off drops them down into my priice bracket! ;)

So no 90% then? I have to leave that dream alone xD

Unfortunately those are completely out of my range lol I'm just a simple man :p  and Bob took me every single penny. I couldn't buy them unless they had a 90% discount or something like that.

Lol.. IMO you should try for Master 4 at least, from the offering will be ending soon.
The price still quite reasonable too.

Dual DD + 2 BAs hybrid IEMs, but that price you pay for Trinity at least :p

I promised myself i would try the sabres first before jumping into another investment

. Right now, i really have no budget for anything else. I have the deltas and i'm pretty happy with the sparkle they give (i'm kinda sensitive to treble). So those together with the sabres are gonna be perfect or so i think

what are the ones you're gonna buy?

Picture taken from Brooko's review
@Bobtrinity
Is this Master casing the final version ?
The edge is sharp not like Sabre that is more rounded

Brooko said the Master 6 he received was a prototype. I'm sure the final product will look more refined.

Sooooo Bobtrinity, since you have said tgat the Hunter is almost ready and the M6 is just about ready; any chance you can tell us what the difference is in the tuning please?

We know the M4 is 'delta on steroids' and the M6 is a more refinded version, so what is the Hunters aim please, more analytical neutral? bassy? Mids focus? Just some general idea of the concept you had in mind when tuning would be awsome.

@Bobtrinity  Any chance that we will be able to choose the cable's termination of our choice? I would prefer to have a 2.5mm TRRS instead of the standard 3.5mm TRS, maybe an option as an add-on for M6's kickstarter?  (Sorry for asking the same question twice)

@Bobtrinity Any chance that we will be able to choose the termination for the cable (for kickstarter maybe)? I don't want to go looking for a new 2.5mm TRRS cable or go for retermination after I get my iem

I am really in support of having the default connector be balanced on the top of the range. I personally prefer 3.5mm TRRS, as it is the strongest best conducting portable balanced connector with acceptance on HiFiMan devices and the Geek Out V2/V2+ and the upcoming Geek Wave. Whilst 2.5mm TRRS is the most ubiquitous, it has steel in the centre to strengthen it, making it not the best conductor--an adaptor should be made for the 2.5mm TRRS. Making adaptors should be simple enough. Just make a couple 4" breakout cables for 3.5mm TRRS to 3.5mm TRS and 3.5mm TRRS to 2.5mm TRRS. It doesn't make sense to make extra full length cables for every type of balanced connector when you could just put a 4" adaptor on the end. Save yourself material costs and manufacturing difficulty whilst improving performance and customer service. Venture Electronics has implemented the only system I know of that addresses all the major balanced connections (2.5mm TRRS, 3.5mm TRRS, Pono)--no mini Kobicon is not a major balanced connection--and I think that there is more market for this. You can be at the forefront, @Bobtrinity. You are a leader, Bob, blaze a trail for others to follow.

Hunter they almost complete, iust the Master 6 will be later time

I noticed now they're available for pre-order in just a week!

i thought we would have to wait more actually

 thanks for stating that

I think launching the Hunter now is a bad business idea. It may cause Bob to split his potential Master 6 market, and doesn't allow enough time for community feedback. I think that Bob should hold off on the Hunter till the fall with a delivery date for Christmas. That may also allow me to buy it. ;)

Hehe, I am personally fine with 3.5mm TRRS as long as i don't have to get a new cable or reterminate it to get a 2.5mm TRRS. Would be a dream if it can be similar to the balanced Zen 2.0

This will proberby be unpopular however, I actually had a similar thoughts about splitting the M6 / Hunter customers. I mean there are bound to be people who jump from M6 to Hunter band wagon. The cost alone will limit many to either or as oposed to both at the higher price points of the premium products.

The Christmas thing makes sense as I think most companies have a bump in sales around the holidays, I know I ask for audio gear or money towards something big then.

It is great for people to be enthusiastic and I am sure bob really excited, however, I cant help but think it is too much too close this time. Would suck if the M6 ks failed due to hunter release so close :(

(Didnt the original atlas campaign coincide with the vario?)
