I’m using the dust network 4.7mm (better probably 4.5mm) you can see in the mod few post above. Release air and clarity on i3 which is somewhat dark sounding.
Did you apply micropore tape ? If not just use micropore tape to cover, just ditch entire mesh and apply small cuts of micropore tape on grill, remember dont block entire grill
Loving my home made pure silver cable on the I3. Slightly cooler timbre compared to SPC overall but clearer, especially in the treble and bass registers. Better separation and nuance throughout the spectrum. Not shrill or harsh in any way. I have a Silver Dragon V1 on the way which might offer a nice fusion of silver and SPC......

Well, it had to happen. Bopping away happily with my I3 when there was a loud pop and no sound out of the left earpiece. No sound with side swap or different cable. I have left a message for AK Audio to see what they will do...I have only had them 3 weeks

I got BTR5 yesterday and put i3’s on it and the sound is exquisite!
I want the newest real expensive one, which could be an EJ07 or ST7 in disguise, but unless we get second stimulus check I’ll wait a long time.
Has anyone heard or read about it....can’t remember name but its like $800! Anybody?

Yeah the TRI Starlight looks superbly interesting, but so far not many reviews. Too risky though to make a blind purchase at that price. But they use Sonion drivers, and my impression is that Sonion is quite picky with which companies they let use their drivers.
