If you also want to use the amp for laptop listening, the Predator might be a better choice as it has a usb dac.

Patience my friend. Let's see what the others say as well. If you're going to be listening out of your laptop, getting an amp/dac combo would be prudent IMO.

I have the iQube and it is a phenomenal amp, but it does not have a dac.

Have you also considered the Meier 2Move ?

Also, if you haven't already done so I suggest reading Skylab's portable amp review. It's a very very good review.

X2 on the amp/ dac if you will be using a laptop even half of the time. Too much will get lost using the HP out of the laptop to the iQube to make it really worth it. I would also second the 2move. It is a great combination and certainly holds its own as just a stand alone amp.

I love my Predator with my Mac laptop combo, it is a fine little amp! I have owned an SR-71 in the past and the Predator just sounds better to me. I am also on my second Cable Pro Panorama cable, as I kept thinking there was something better, and to me there is not.

If you never think you'll need a DAC off PC/Lap get the iQube but as soon as you do you will have that epiphany and need the DAC! The Predator has more versatility 4 sure

If you are not planning on using a DAC you could consider the SR71, iBasso P2 and the MiniBox-E+

If you are even considering Predator, you should get HeadAmp Pico instead. I have both, and prefer Pico a lot more.
