I personally don't mind MQA but the product is very overpriced so i guess there is an MQA tax inside of it.

I hope Topping can do a mid tier dac amp combo unit with good specs like their entry level combo dx3pro+. This product should have at least L50 level of amp inside or even A30pro.

Do NOT get pissed off and ban me from this thread but why is it you gave it MQA? I do NOT want that waste of code and it is not a matter of simply not using it but rather you are MAKING me PAY for it whether or not I use it? If I buy this, money I paid goes to that idiot tailor (i.e., The Emperor's New Clothes, Blob Stuart. That disgusts me no end.

I would give serious consideration to this new device as it looks to be superb but the company foisted the FARCE upon us again. Ban me from discussion if you feeeeeeeeeeeel that way but the truth is more people loathe Stuart's folly than want it. It adds nothing. I have tested it in the real world and it does N O T H I N G to the music.

Please let me know, why the company did this again?

Totally agree. MQA has absolutely no relevance today, and it's debatable if it ever did have.

It was irrelevant since day one.

Re. Topping's journey with MQA; it was painted on the front of the EX5, a removable sticker on the top of the the E50 .... this time it's a sticker on the back of the of the DX5!
Looks like Topping are as embarrassed about MQA as intelligent people are pissed off with it.

I actually do not mind MQA if the price is included and not having to charge extra cost for the high price tag. To me, the more feature, the better even less compelling feature at least for the sake of justifying the price tag. Sure, maybe not everybody agrees with me.
