So there's some news going around that Radiohead is going back to studio this summer

I think poor thom needs some rest

I don't know what to say, I'm exited but seriously thom is draining himself out

Guys,

As someone that only really listened to OK Computer and The Bends - which ONE album I should I listen to now, to get me me to check out Radiohead again?

All of them except King of Limbs and Amnesiac, IMO.

They're acquired tastes, i would say. I absolutely LOVE amnesiac's jazzy sounds, and king of limbs has this nice, "controlled", electronica on it. The singles released afterwards is better than a majority of the songs, however. Plus the new stuff they showed during their live shows sound great.

Lotus Flower was the song that got me back into radiohead

Everytime I listened to it I was blown away. Listening to Radiohead more now Lotus Flower is an okay song and I wish KoL had songs like it but I didn't listen to KoL right away

****, The Bends is pretty depressing

Even songs like Just which sound happier have lyrics that will give you suicidal thoughts

But It's a good feeling alltogether, life is beutiful

The Bends is amazing, but sad, just like life

Hey tell us what you thought about Kid A

I haven't had a chance to pick up Kid A yet . I don't mind depressing songs as I think good music should stir emotions....good or bad. I tend to Follow heavier going stuff with something lighter to lift the mood. Funnily enough as my "audiophile" journey has progressed...the less I listen to lyrics and more to the music
