Don't forget the LynxOne Pci soundcard, I have one forsale, it's old yes, but that can mean it can be used with older PCs and it's analog ins and outs are really great, for some better than 1212ms

You asked about the X-Meridian drivers. They are stable. I have used them both in XP and Vista. Perhaps if your into gaming etc, you may want to check out the Prelude instead or atleast wait until it has been reviewed to see if it has anything for you. Nice thing about the XM and in the Prelude is they have swappable Opamps for all channels on the XM and fronts on the Prelude. You can test out all the Opamps you like and find the sound you want for your music.

Have you considered going with digital to a external DAC and.or headphone amp?

I thought the Juli@ was a discontinued product.

The Prelude is the new flagship model from Auzentech. The same people that make the X-Meridian 7.1. The new Prelude is built around the X-fi 20KX DSP so it will have all the features of the X-fi for gaming and all the sound quality and digital output features of the X-Meridian 7.1.

Surprised you haven't heard of it yet. Have a look:

The Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi with Drive-Bay amp. It's not the best sound card, but it's great for the price.
