Top 3 favorite Albums (whole CD, LP whatever)
Mar 31, 2008 at 6:59 AM Post #31 of 102
1. Hank William Collection
2. Cake Motorcade of Generosity
3. Nine Inch Nails: The Fragile

Of course, that's "at the moment" although Hank and Cake and Trent alway rank high. All time? That's such a bitch. "All time favorite Beatles" (that would be "Let it Be") is less taxing on the brain!

  2. Miles Davis - Kind Of Blue
  3. Led Zeppelin - Mothership
Oh my, there are like 20 best 3 albums ...

Mothership? why? I don't really like compilations, and especially not this one. How come they didn't put "your time is gonna come" in there? :O

I have too many favourites so listing three which stand out from the rest would be an impossible task... a few interesting ones however....

Extension of a Man - Donny Hathaway
Bridges - Gil Scott-Heron
1972 - Josh Rouse

This is an absolutely impossible question; I swear, I'm continuously amazed by the number of posters who can answer it. One week I might be tempted to say all Miles Davis records, and the next it'd be London Calling, It Takes A Nation of Millions… and There's A Riot Goin' On. Oh, but then what about Some Girls, Talking Book and Horses? Bat Chain Puller (Shiny Beast)? Music for 18 Musicians? Daydream Nation? Roforofo Fight?…maybe I take these things too seriously.

Rise Against - Siren Song of the Counter Culture
Atreyu - Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses
Flogging Molly - Drunken Lullabies

It's really hard to pick just 3...
