Rush - Permanent Waves
Porcupine Tree - Lightbulb Sun
Pineapple Thief - What We Have Sown

This is tough...like asking who's your favorite child.
With music, it changes with my mood...but there's my 3 favorite
bands.

Gah, that's really hard to nail down...three just isn't enough!

Although overall it is too difficult to decide, my recent tendencies would point to these:

1) Mastodon - Blood Mountain
2) Mastodon - Leviathan
3) Pearl Jam - Ten

And, bending the rules a little...
Honorable Mentions include, but certainly aren't limited to:
Nirvana - Nevermind
Aerosmith - Toys in the Attic and Permanent Vacation
Rush - Different Stages Live
Metallica - Master of Puppets
Slayer - Reign in Blood

Np, can add alittle more i guess...like i said...i didnt want people to have to spend hours thinking of 10-20 different albums they loved. I just would be easier to keep it small...

Feel free to post more then once =) I love this thread...

Best albums thread are always fun! For a similar thread go back to 2004 for Name 3-4 albums you can't live without. It's also interesting to go back and see who's still hanging around head-fi.

Hmmm, this time, I'll keep out the 90's, 00's and go:

13th Floor Elevators - Easter Everywhere
Cabaret Voltaire - Red Mecca
John Coltrane - A Love Supreme
