TL;DR : Please recommend me an IEM in the same price range as the latest KZ PR2, with comparable or better clarity and resolution. Thanks in advance!

So, I've tried the latest version of the KZ PR2 from a friend, and I'm mesmerized by its resolution and instrumental separation. I didn't find the treble unbearable or screechy; in fact, I think I could listen to it for long periods without fatigue. I also found the tuning very enjoyable for the songs and pieces I listen to. However, the reason I'm hesitating to buy it is that "comparison is the thief of joy." I've read many reviews saying that the original KZ PR2 is much better in terms of soundstage, clarity, and more compared to the latest version. This makes me feel like I'd be paying the same price for a worse IEM, and I know buyer's remorse would kick in knowing that it could have been better.

More info just in case : I listen to pop idol songs (like JKT48), hip-hop and R&B (Travis Scott, The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar), some punk rock (My Chemical Romance), J-pop and J-rock (such as the opening song from an anime called Makeine), classical, and EDM.

I've got two of the PR2 and they're really good if you have an amplifier that can power them. They need more than just an Apple 3.5mm adapter to shine. I also have the Moon drop Chu 2 and they're fun and easier to power. The 7hz Zero:2 are just as good also. Can't go wrong with any of them, but for the PR2 think along the lines of powering a Hifiman HE4XX since they need current to sound their best.

I think you should go for a different IEM, hahaha. I'm not disrespecting PR2 or anything, but without decent power, it sounds lacking. It feels kinda clear due to more aggressive lower treble. For longer listening session, I suggest go for something like tin hifi c3 mk2, tangzu yu xuanji, etc. C3ii is my personal choice. It's really easy to drive, balance sounding, the technical aspect IMO is not lacking either
