Not sure if this has been asked before - can you purchase individual tracks in the Tidal store? I bought and downloaded an album before I realised that they also had the Japanese version available which has two bonus tracks. It looks like you can't purchase one track, just full albums. Annoying if true!

I'm very impressed with Tidal aside from the above issue though.

With Tidal, there is no purchasing of individual tracks, albums, playlist, etc. With your subscription, it's an all-you-can-consume buffet. Just save your favorites and they'll show up your "My Music" list. If you use Tidal on a portable device, make sure you save your favorites and make it available for offline listening.

That may be true but I've been a Tidal subscriber since it was made available in the U.S. (through all the growing pains and all), and I don't ever remember the option to buy albums. I'm not saying that it wasn't possible, just that I can't remember that option. I guess I was never looking for it.

Interesting that that link has mostly Prince albums. I have all of those albums in my favorites already and din't have to pay extra. Actually, some of them I had already owned on CD but added them in my Tidal favorites when they were first made available. I think some of them were taken out of rotation from Tidal in the Prince catalogue.

I'm really enjoying Tidal for the few days that I have had it.

It would be nice if you could organise your 'My Music'.

The only thing that worries me with these services is if content gets removed. Or if for any reason Tidal was to disappear, you'd lose everything, it'd be difficult just to even remember a lot of the music you had.

Do you mean playlists?

I would like to organise the albums in 'My Music' by genre. I find it makes finding something to play according to my mood a bit easier. I can use playlists but it will then play everything in that playlist. Then finding a particular album in that playlist is a pain if the list is large.

If I fancy classical music I want to be able to go to my classical folder and play per album, rather than searching through my entire library.

What type of flac does tidal offered when we purchase an offline album? 16bit 44kHz ?

Thank you for the answer.

Tidal offline mode is only available to mobiles and tablets. In the app you can choose the quality of the offline content, you get normal, high and HiFi.

If you choose HiFi you get 16/44.1

Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
I mean the songs that you purchase from tidal store, so you can play them on your DAPs beside smartphones and tablets
