Wow!  I didn't even know what I was missing.  LOL

But I have to report that all day yesterday (Saturday), from early AM right through until late evening, I experienced absolutely no dropouts - Tidal was working flawlessly and I enjoyed it immensely across about six hours of listening, all combined.

Tidal is such a tease!

I'm starting to love this service more and more! I can sympathize with the people who are having issues but so far so good for me. Definitely recommended :)

Some early stuttering that I reported seems to have been caused by a less than perfect seating of the CCK I use for digital out from my iOS devices. Once I carefully seat the CCK and re-start the app, this works flawlessly. I decided to go for at least 30 days to check Tidal out and, so-far quality and selection have been excellent, for my taste. Yes, it's more than I want to pay, but I'm cutting on a couple of expenditures including FLAC purchases, and, so far, it has been worth it.

I signed up with a USA account.

I tried the same thing as well. Your account gets region locked to wherever you were when you signed up and I didn't see a quick fix for that. For example I'd have a VPN set up for UK and preview the UK tracks available. Then if I logged into my account I'd get the terrible selection even though my ip was still in the UK.

By all means if anyone can find a reasonable way for me to get the UK selection at the US price I'd be mighty grateful.

Do any of the DSN unblock services work with Tidal? I'm thinking of Unblock-us or Unotelly. They're both about five dollars a month, and are also very handy for changing Netflix regions, among other things.

The initial streaming issues I had a couple of weeks ago have now disappeared. I wonder if they've upgraded their EU servers or capacity?

Does anyone else find the iPad tidal app very slow and unresponsive?

New user here - how do I delete whole albums stored offline? iPhone user. Thanks

While online, go to the stored album and toggle the "offline" button.

Thanks but after doing that it still appears in track listings. Then there are Xs after each song but it's a pain to delete one by one.

Sorry, I don't have time to go back and read the whole thread.  Is there a consensus on the bitrate Tidal is streaming at?  I'm seeing lots of streams that look like 320 kbps to me, from inspecting the Windows Performance Monitor for network.  Is this standard?

I measured a couple of streaming Tidal tracks & they came in about the same size as my local flac versions - Pixies "Debaser" 20Mb  and  The Prodigy "Funky Schiit" 37Mb. On that small sample, it looks ok to me.  Are you testing tracks that are "hifi" quality in Tidal?

I am happy to see that many new Music server include now also TIDAL streaming, but... how how well is this service integrated ?

For example, within the Music server application, I would like to be able to built a "hybride" playlist that include a mix of (1) locally stored files and (2) Music streamed from Tidal.

This will be a REAL Good integration of the Streaming function ! Is it possible ?

(Interested to know mainly for iPeng 8 but also for the ARIES, Wadia 330, Aurender, McIntosh MB100.....)

Ah, figured it out.  I switched from Chrome to Firefox a few days ago since I was starting to have too many (60+) Chrome tabs open.  Tidal only does 'hifi' using Chrome.
