Any reliability issues on these? Anyone been using them daily for over a year?

Just over 3 years with them as my primary phones. Let's just say I have not babied them as I have other earphones. Have been in my jeans during long flights, been washed and dried twice, and also had the cable dangling from my car door for a good while on the way to work. They still perform good as new. Might have something to do with the Japanese build and I am hopeful, if not confident, these can last a couple more years even with my rough usage.

I noticed the xb90ex has two different barcodes. I was told the one that ends in xxxxxx2126 is the best and that's the japanese version. Does anyone confirm that? Thanks a lot.

Wow the prices for these are crazy now. I want a set but am unsure I can justify the marked up price.
