Hello all!
I had a i Sennheiser HD 595 for almost 2 years (wich felt really comfortable), and recently i bought a Denon AH D2000. Well, i do not need to say that i was really impressed with the sound quality, it was the best headphone i ever had. But  after an hour or so, i started to feel some pain on the top of my head, caused by the headband. My problem is that i need to import quality headphones like these, because here in my country, the best thing i can buy, in terms of sound, is a skullcandy ( depressing, i know). I own the denon for almost 7 weeks and this lack of comfort persists. The fact is i'm going to the USA next month and i'm very inclined to sell the denon and buy another similiar headphone ( with equivalent sound, but more comfortable). Is there any option out there? I usually listen to house, classical, rock, jazz and blues, so basically an all around with good bass. I have a Xonar STX Essence to boost the audio.
Any tips or advices?

What about using a headband pad like Beyers on the Denon? Quite a few people do this.

that's indeed a very good solution. But won't it make the headphone look weird?

Disclaimer: I haven't done this with mine, so I don't know if there's some trick that needs to be done to get it to fit, but I wouldn't think it's too difficult.
