ThieAudio Monarch MKII Experience

Hey everyone, new user here.
I was trying tips, and the SednaEarFit (L size) seemed to enhance the bass a bit too much for my tastes. Although since a deep fit is possible with the monarchs I have to rethink my sizings, L HURTS, especially AZLA L, and stock silicone M/S seems to fit deeper and without pain. Perhaps I'll buy a few different tips mentioned here(to balance out the hefty postage costs) along with SednaEarFit MS which I feel are gonna be the perfect size match for my ears.

Regd. the ear tips sizing with the Monarch MKII - my experience has been that a size smaller works well. Usually, the M-size ear tips fit me the best for all my IEMs. However, with the Monarch MKII, the S-size fits best. I am using the SpinFit W1 ear tips S-size and these are 100% comfortable for me. I can now comfortably use the Monarch MKII for hours on end.

My recommendation would be to buy one size smaller than your regular size when buying ear tips for the Monarch MKII.

The SpinFit W1 ear tips work very well with the Monarch MKII btw. Sound is very clean, balanced, and natural with these. I prefer the SpinFit W1s any day over the stock ear tips. I am yet to try the Azlas though.

Im a fan of Azla Earfit with the Monarch 2 but yesterday tried the Final Type E tips out of curiosity (had them in my tips box and very rarely used them with the Kinera Nanna).
I think i like the sound with them even more. I dont think they beat Azlas but i dont want to compare as the sound changes its character a bit. So i would say, the Monarch sound slightly different with the Finals.
The sound becomes darker and warmer and the detail becomes more laid back. Its still preserved but less in my face, more in the beackground. The bass is warmer and there is slightly more of it. The whole presentation is more emotional and atmospheric to my ears.
I think taming the detail a bit isnt a bad idea as the Monarchs are a detail monsters. I like the sound so much that i ordered extra set of Finals.
So for those who want 100% of the detail from the Monarchs from the first seconds of the song (dierctly in your face) - the Azlas are perfect and transparent.
Those who want bit darker, bassier and meatier sound, the Finals Type E could do the trick.

The final E eartips have characteristic to tame lower treble part, around 4khz - 7khz with biggest affected area around 5khz. Thus the IEM perceived as warmer and the small bore resonance the sub and mid bass more and perceived as more bass to our ears.

You can try these eartips too which i consider as among the best eartips :
-Azla sedna crystal (tacky but not as sticky as xelastec and dont absord edges as much)
-Feaulle H570 latex eartips (only on Ali, more tacky than crystal, very great seal adn comfortable, great sound, wide bore)
-Spinfit W1 (Medium wide bore, hard stem material, good resonance)
-Moondrop Spring (cheap and good, works with big nozzle IEM only)

I literally own almost any aftermarket eartips (some are imported) and measured (and compared) them by years because of my OCD disease. One eartips are good to go with certain IEMs and other will pair better with another IEMs but those 4 are considered best to me.

*PS : I got my Monarch Mk2 incoming

Thanx! Yeah i know the characteristics of the Type E thats why i tried them. I dont have any problems with 3-5k on the Monarchs but wanted to make them slightly more laid back in detail and i think the Finals succeeded on this field.
I have the Azla Crystals- they sound similar to the Earfits to me, maybe just slightly sharper.
I also have the Spinfits W1- i like them with the Monarchs but to me they move the ear gain on the Monarchs higher. So the 3-5k becomes calmer but the 7-8k becomes slightly sharper. Nothing that bothers me but i feel like im losing a bit of a texture between 3-5k.
I have the Springs too and they also sound good with the Monarchs but the Finals make more of a difference, at least to my ears.
So IMHO- Azlas Earfits are best for a pure, transparent Monarchs sound and the Finals make the sound slightly meatier, organic and darker but all the detail and textures are still there.

So im listening with the Final tips a couple hours today already, going through my library and am still very pleased. The soundstage is very 3 dimentional and what i noticed too is that the slight ringing from EST drivers is reduced completely. Just an absolutely smooth sound in every genre- electronic music, classic rock, female vocals.

I prefer the sound of the regular Earfit to the Crystal so i dont see the point here but thanx anyways!
With MKII enormous shells and thick muzzle MAX helped me greatly with comfort, but if you find comfortable tips for yourself already then yes, no much reason to bother.

Just received delivery of mine. These are so comfortable compared to my IER-Z1R and the vocals seem better to me. The bass is really good and better than I expected but the Sony wins out there and soundstage for sure.

Overall these are excellent, but not as good as the Sony (let’s say 8.5 vs Sony’s 10). However, if the comfort remains this good after extended periods and different use cases then I may decide to keep these instead.

After having owned the Monarch MkII and Technics TZ700 for some time and spending comparable listening time with both, my preference is the TZ700. While both sound superb, to my ears, the Technics wins first place due to comfort, accuracy of bass and overall sense of space, all of which contribute to that elusive sense of realism.

Well, did the test with a silver cable. I had a Thieaudio Est mk2 cable, it is a Lutz silver plated. I don't like it - the bass loses texture, according to me, as if only sub-bass stays. The vocals get thinner and a bit recessed while the very high end gets very prominent but somehow separated. I used for the test my Xduoo X10T mk2 digi transport connected to the Mojo2.
I rolled lots of tips - the stock white are the best choice for me; this is the third cable I test - the stock is the best from sonic performance. No matter it is not comfy but it is worth the 'sacrifice'.
Start to think that Thieaudio did the best possible sonic package. What's left is to test the Azla Sednaearfit tips.
I'm using JVC spiral dots with my Monarch Mk2, they have bigger nozzle opening compare to Monarch stock tips.
