ThieAudio Legacy Series IEMs

:unamused::rage::disappointed:

WARNING: There are increasing reports of cracks being found in the qdc sockets of the L3 units, with some actually breaking. The traditional flush 2 pin sockets are definitely preferable. I just checked my IEM, and there are multiple fractures in the qdc sockets, despite me always treating my IEMs gently.

Sorry to hear that, another reason I'm glad that I have the custom shell version. Really can't find much at all to dislike with my L3.
Can't really understand the lack of bass reports either, as mine are quite deep and punchy, just not too much mid bass as blon03 nor as muddy. Blon05 are just not a good alternative imo too, very sharp treble and lack the smooth timbre of 03, the one area where it still excels well.

I've had the L3 for about a month and I still use it more than the Tri I3. Not saying that either of them is "better" and it seems to depend on the record/music (and I haven't really figured out the logic yet), but the Legacy 3 has a certain addictive quality to it, and the very light weight and comfort adds to it. It also seems to have very good synergy with my Oriolus BA300S portable tube amp, and also this combination fits my taste in electronic music (mostly 90s/early 00s Goa trance and rave/house/progressive/techno also mostly from the 90s) particularly well. And also psybient, such as Carbon Based Lifeforms.

I think the L3 has not enough bass for listening electronic dance music

Mine happens to have plenty for EDM, rap, pop, etc.
