The V6 and 7506 are more or less the same cans, yes. One is sold through Sony Pro, one is sold through Sony Consumer Electronics - they'll have different stickers and might be *slightly* different in voicing and whatnot. But they're generally regarded as the same (just as the 7509 and V900 are).
