i have my battery replaced several months ago, and i peel the covering of the original battery and found the 755083 4000mah (the size of the opus battery) and use it to search in google. but its in chinese, although its an online store, i cnt find the link to click buy

There are plenty of similar batteries on e-bay, but with slightly different sizes. Do you happen to know how tight is the free place inside Opus for battery?

i guess u can fit 7.6mm at most.. i i ha found a fiio battery which is 3600mah, and the size is 525077, this is 5.2mm thickness, same width and slightly shorter. i think this is perfect. i also found an astell and kern battery, but that was rated as 3.8v, opus has 3.7v rating, and i dont know if its its safe to use that instead, it has a 4050mah and the size is perfect, around 7.2mm if i remembered it right.

the ak240 is also perfect and i contacted the seller, the battery is 3.7v. but the problem is, it has 3 wires, red white and black. is it possible to replace the original battery protection circuit to the ak240 battery?

If anyone finds a replacement screen for one I'd be interested. Mine developed the navigation bug and I'm unable to browse by folder. I think it's software related but the bit says that the screen needs replaced.

u can use anything that is thin enough to pry the bottom, it would be much easier if the battery is already swelled
