I really love that concept and design :p

Thank you... simple, mimimalist ....less is more..

I haven't read all the posts but i mainly use my 4A with my Studio 3rd ann. but tried it with a "simple" clip plus and was blown away by how they also sounded great without a big amplification... others like me use them directly from "only" a clip+?

I run my 4.A directly from a clip+ as well.

I just looked at pictures of some of the ear impressions posted on this thread and the inside of the canals would be impossible to mill.  The only way would be to split them and mill it as two halves.  Cost just went up.

My 4.A's were returned for fit issues, along with fresh new molds that I hope are bang on.  Just as much art as science with these puppies, but I sure do miss 'em.  Even with my fit issues (too deep, seal not quite there) the 4.A's were still a great listening experience.  I also have Westone 4R's which are very cool but there is so much richness with the 4.A's.  Plus much more sensitive so less volume needed and consequently less background noise.

Hopefully will see 'em back in another few weeks.  Sure helps dealing with a solid company.

I sent my CIEMs back for a re-shell because of similar experiences Kazenagi....though I'm new to CIEMs, so I don't know if such issues are customary or not. I feel like they could probably just be thickened up a bit with clear nail polish though.

Haha I am wondering as well. I will take photographs as soon as I receive my 4A.

It's ok, I'm waiting too. Actually, I think alot of people are waiting…They are closing for Chinese New Year so we will wait longer. But the fun's in the anticipation of the IEMS :D

ETA of 3 weeks more for mine, hopefully they get in by the end of January! I went with black mamba for the shells and red and amber for the canals, with a woody inlay face plate, really anxious to see how they turn out :)

I went with rush. Hoping I’ll get in before they stop for the holidays. Hope, hope! I have an appointment on Saturday with the same audiologist I used before and I’m shipping from San Francisco so I’m in with a chance.
