Don't Heir products regrow hair?

If you really want it, you can choose to pay the "change of mind" fine.

I guess I could but I'd rather spend that money on other products ie. new amp maybe or save the pennys for the 8.As! Also I guess I'm lucky as I'm going to China to see the Mrs. soon. import tax..? No thanks!

Hi,

Has anyone imported a set of 8a's to USA or California?  If so, would you mind sharing what the fees were?  Mine are supposed to be here early next week.

When I received mine in Los Angeles from UPS, it costed me around $56. I also had to get the driver a money order for the exact amount, which meant running to 7-11. Hope this helps.

Rendition 1 amp and my 8.A's

Are these brush aluminum with a logo cutout? I was looking to get something very similar (don't know if I want a cutout but wanted brush aluminum with maybe an etched logo). Did you provide a render to Heir for this or just describe it to them?

Brushed aluminum with a laser cutout. I just told The Wizard what I wanted and he worked his magic... Better pics:

About three times a week, Heir posts a set of CIEMs that look so stupidly good I almost want to have mine redone. Then I realize that would mean spending weeks without my 8.A and then I decide to keep them just the way they are.

Oh ****** - expecting mine next week, this is not welcome news. On top of what I've already spent I dare not tell the mrs that I need to fork out another 150 just to get them off the postman!!

...and this is why I am reluctant to pull the trigger on the 8.A. I am having been to'ing and fro'ing as to whether to place and order for weeks.

If they were sent as "a sample goods" at a fraction of the value (I'd be happy to risk not having the insurance on route), I would order in a heartbeat.
I just refuse to pay the taxman an extortionate £150 !
