They all sounds the same. Transparent. You need to know the power and features most of the time.
You mean the the people on ASR, all worshipping their god of scientism? It's a wonder they're not sacrificing holy gellyfish with their calibrated argon lasers and demanding of us to do the same.

Even the word 'transparent' is subjective by definition. It's as rational as 1/0

Here's a review just published.

No even when you hear it, they all sound the same. With true a/b test, they sound the same. Everything proper volume matching.

I agree. They all sound the same. That's how I figured you out so easily. Only... How do you volume match acolytes of ASR? One shouts louder than the other.

It's often envie that decides this position. For people who can't afford quality items it's easier to denigrate it than to accept they can't afford it.

Is the top made of real glass or is it scratchy Plexiglas?
Real glass afaik. They used some nice materials on this one.

My issue is that the community seems divided for the topping brand. I cant easily go and demo one for myself. So I generally rely on peoples impressions. I might be interested in dx9 but theres so many conflicting opinions.

Decided? You mean polarized maybe? Because it's from China? As in brainwashed that nothing good can come from there. Because it's not 'made in america'. I always compare it to Japanese products in the 60-ies that were all considered crap. Look how that turned out. Upcoming economy.

Anyway, Topping is a good brand that is still improving continually. It has great value for money, especially if you don't have much to spend. That puts people on the wrong foot. Because it's not 'high end'. The same goes for SMSL btw, which I prefer. That's a matter of taste I presume. I have a few of those and I really like them. I've been buying chi-fi for over 15 years by now. Neither Topping nor SMSL have made bad products, unlike some I had.

That said, I know there's been some comments on output- input impedance issues that weren't adhering to standard. You should treat that on a case by case basis.
