I thought I'd compare against the monk as well as the last 3 generations of Apple I-phone buds, the monoprice snails, and the HTC in-ears that came with the M9 since that seems to the target demographic for these.  I'm going to be really interested to see if they can get good sound in a tank tough bud that can survive my daughter.   She can manage to destroy earbuds and iems with alarming regularity so for now we have a standing order with monoprice on the $8 special.   These may be a better option.

That'll definitely be in the review. I plan to compare with the Sennheiser MX470, Monk, and one of my favorites over the last decade +, the Phillips SHS3200.

We should have a good base of comparison against the Monks...I plan to include them, too. Along with some other similarly-priced pairs...teaser...

I'm waiting on mine to arrive too.   From the notes so far they sound like they might be great stocking stuffers this year.   I'm thinking if they are tough enough to survive the washing machine I'll buy a set for each of the kids, nieces, nephews, etc.     Most of them want to snitch mine when theirs break so call this self defense.
