Probably a cheaper he-1, a refinment of the he-60 maybe?

HD625? Half way between HD600 and HD650 so people don't have to choose. Or making people choose even harder LOL.

Preparing to be underwhelmed. Haven't heard much news from their audiophile line in a long time, even longer for anything worth getting excited about. We'll see...

No pitchforks? Sorry to disappoint but no HD 900S in March lol

Something that will actually compete with hifiman lineup and pricing?
Would be funny if it was something wireless.
Some foam pads to tame the highs, like Beyer is doing with their new T 1.3s, DT 700 and DT 900 Pro?
And now, seriously, @Sennheiser, do you think our illustrious forum member, @Malevolent, will like your new product?
We hope so!
No foam earpads, sorry!

Hmmmm. Should be out of this world so I'm guessing it's something even more whacky than the Orpheus! It's a secret, but not for long
Any guesses?

There would be a bit more chatter for something like that
I appreciate the guess, though!

I wonder if it is a closed back over-ear headphones priced a little more than the 660S.
The 820 is their flagship closed back, but they long ago ditched their previous audiophile closed headphone model, the 630VB, so it seems to me there's room for a replacement that substantially departs from that unsuccessful model (and I say that as someone who still has one, but it's not perfect by any means).

I'm thinking this too. A closed back in the 6xx class is sorely lacking from Sennheisers lineup. That is something that would get me really excited.I wonder if it is a closed back over-ear headphones priced a little more than the 660S.

Certainly goes with the teaser
Okay now I'm even more intrigued!
My dream scenario will be a special edition ie900 where the shell is milled from an actual meteorite and the driver is a pure beryllium or DLC unit

If it’s “out of this world”, expectations are sky-high (lol) and hope for a new flagship over ear headphone.
How about a successor to the HE60. Love mine, still my favorite e-stat as well.

HD900, reason why they offload 8XX at a big discount on drop
820 costs a fortune so expect $2K as well, these days stellar price buys street cred' yo
