Hi.. Needs Headphone with good sounstage for my gaming and music listening.

How HD600 soundstage compares to HD598?

Is HD600 can give a good job in terms of gaming (fps)?

hd598 is wider than the hd600. though the hd600 is more refined in sound overall and probably needs amping more than the hd598 (note it is lightly advised to amp the hd598 as well)

Which Grado?

SR80i obviously, it's the best.

Nah I'm just joking. I have tried a DT880 Pro and the SR80i sounds very congested in comparison.

I have a question, if anyone has tried them, what is the difference in soundstage of the AKG K550 and the K701? I want to buy a pair for soundstage (after hearing the DT880 i remained with a crave for soundstage) but i kinda need a closed pair, but if the the K701 is much better i think i'll purchase them instead.

Is the STAX 307 part of the Lambda group (I'm wanting to return my HD650s for something a little crisper)?

Hmm, do DAPs really warrant their own category?

I was thinking the list was mainly for headphones...

I think any part of the sound chain that can effect the soundstage is important and should have it's own list (Let the cable arguments begin)

new arrivals: dtx501p and cop. both have soundstage especiLly depth that is among the best in closed cans.

I've read the DT770 has a bigger soundstage than the Custom One Pro (and looking at the cups I can believe that), and that the Custom One Pro soundstage is decent (as are most beyers), but not class-leading.
I can still put it up I guess.

I can't find much info on that portable DTX-501p...
