The Qudelix-5K thread

It has a battery built in. The charging can be turned off though meaning it will essentially run just on USB power.

So is it recommended to leave charging on when actively listening on PC? I assume the battery will still drain somewhat if it's in use.

Also yeah, HD 6XX so good or no good?

Help. Clicked the wrong setting. Phone cant locate qudelix in bluetooth no matter what buttons i press

Have you tried the famous - "Turn it Off, and turn it back On" (both devices)?
Then, if that didn't fix it, maybe try un-pairing, power cycling, and re-pairing them.

One other question - are you near any strong 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signals?
They could interfere.

I dug out my Qudelix 5k again because it plays music without skipping on an M1 Mac. My Questyle M15 has intermittent skipping due to memory or buffer issue, apparently a lot of other dac/amps have this issue with M1 Macs, except for the Qudelix (fingers crossed!).

I’m currently giving my 5K a little break. I just got the Aful Performer 8, and it’s doing just fine out of an Apple Lightning dongle at under 25% and it needs no EQ. I’m pretty sure using the 5K wired to my iPhone is destroying the iPhones battery, so I’m giving that a break too.

18 months in and my 13Pro is at 92% battery health. I’m sure it’s not really that terrible compared to other people’s iPhones of the same age, but I’m sure it is contributing to it.

Why not just charge the 5k and use its bluetooth?

Cause I’d rather get lossless audio, not 256kbps AAC. The Qudelix is the best way to get EQ on iOS.

My 5k works great with all my devices, Pixel 7 Pro, Macbook Air M1, Macbook Pro Intel, etc.
