Chrome auto updates the extensions at its own will, not every start. If you want to get around that, go to "manage extensions" and activate developer mode. It will add an update button so you can do it manually.Nice! I think I'll uninstall the v2.2.3 Chrome extension and install the v2.2.4 version from the Chrome Web Store. I should be able to update my Q5K to v2.2.4 as well then.
EDIT: As soon as I launched the Chrome Qudelix extension the Q5K connected and the v2.2.4 firmware update message popped up. Update completed immediately.
Here's the chrome extension url for those that want to copy and paste to launch if needed: chrome-extension://phaodiidhofhdmfkjiacigibgikhfafn/index.html

Thanks for that info. I don't use Chrome a lot for my web browsing, usually Firefox.Chrome auto updates the extensions at its own will, not every start. If you want to get around that, go to "manage extensions" and activate developer mode. It will add an update button so you can do it manually.
@DBaldock9 and others that need to know... you can pin the Qudelix extension to the Chrome bar for convenient and quick access.

Just for the record, Qudelix will not provide any similar extension for Firefox.
For usb communication, the Qudelix chrome extension uses webHID API.
But Firefox doesn't support it.
Even better than that; once you've opened the Qudelix app in chrome, copy the address and make it your home page/startup page. That way, when you open Chrome, the Qudelix app opens with it. I'm in the same boat. Firefox for lyf. Thanks for that info. I don't use Chrome a lot for my web browsing, usually Firefox.

Tell me about it|(also using firefox exclusively), been uninstaling and reinstalling the new versions for few months now like a neanderthalThanks for that info. I don't use Chrome a lot for my web browsing, usually Firefox.

Just purchased the Alternative A2DP Driver for £5.24 to have LDAC on Windows 11. Works great with my Qudelix-5K, no connection drops anywhere inside my property, besides a specific spot in the bathroom.
EDIT:
So, indeed, no connection drops from my laptop but...lag from my mouse while using this driver. Most probably because my keyboard/mouse combo is wireless (2,4 GHz).
In any case, I do not regret buying this driver and supporting a good developer. For something that Microsoft should offer. And, I use Bluetooth when I am away from the computer, anyway.

Hey guys, why is my Qudelix appearing just as Audio Endpoint on my laptop, and not by its name? Like, Qudelix 5K or something? I'm rarely using it as a USB DAC so I've only now observed it. How can I fix it?
Also, anyone here from the UK on Android 12? Have you received the App update on your phone? I have not. I've updated it from my laptop.

The Timeless AE with SpinFit W1 tips on a Qudelix 5K with the 2.5mm balanced connection wired to an iPhone with a little EQ, and on the Hybrid fast roll-off DAC filter is godly! Literally no complaints. A+

I wonder if the majority of people are using it wired (usb) or as a Bluetooth receiver.100%
I’ve used it both ways, but since switching from android to iPhone it’s been getting used exclusively wired to my iPhone.

Have only had a few moments over the years where I used it wired. 99.999...% Bluetooth use from an iPad. The sound rocks in my book. Rock on.I wonder if the majority of people are using it wired (usb) or as a Bluetooth receiver.

Just got another 5K to replace the one with the battery bulge. I also picked up the QX-Over to try out. Anyone have a recommendation for tips on these? I can get a seal worth a c**p

Anyone, please? On my Android phone, I am still running version 2.2.3
I have an LG V35, which is running Android v10; and a Samsung Galaxy Tab Active3, which is running Android v13.
Both of them have the latest version of Qudelix installed from the Google Play Store, which is v2.2.3.
.
My Q5K has been updated to v2.2.4, using the Qudelix v2.2.4 Chrome extension on my Windows 10 Laptop.
