When I was compiling that list I found Tristeza particularly difficult to place. A listen to Paisajes and I would say jazzy post rock. It is a really refreshing listen and highly recommended.

My ticket cost me £15. I did get to see Peter Gabriel at a free concert outside the UN building in NY in 1986.

I've had good luck with ticket prices lately, Mogwai and Explosions in the Sky are both ~$20 tickets.

I wish ticket prices were the least of my worries. Most shows are in chicago about 2.5 hours from me. Then I have to get a hotel, then we go see sights and record stores and bars... adds up quick for just a concert. Its fun though.

I've found out MONO at at the same venue a couple of days later, but I am working and it blows my monthly concert budget. It is so annoying to miss a band who are touring. I have posted this before, but cannot remember if it was here or not, but Songkick is a very good way of tracking bands.

The new album 'With Route One or Die' from Three Trapped Tigers is intensive electronica math rock and a really exciting listen. The last track 'Reset' is immense.

Cougar's debute album, which I have just found on Spotify incorrectly credited to the 'Youngblood Brass Band' and reported that.
