So a bit if Quattro news. The cable here is like a mini Penon OSG. Silver plated copper with graphene. It Matches up splendidly with the Quattros. But it seems Penon is not happy with leaving well enough alone. You guys saw it here first.



Quattro will have an all blue color theme. Cant have an all blue color theme without a blue colored cable. The good news there is that its just the sleeving of this cable that has changed. It is the same cable but now is going to look dope on the new Quattro. This is the finalized cable for the Quattro. NICE!

Oh yea you can imagine how they will look together by putting those pics from top to bottom and scrolling real fast up n down. Lol. That is going to be a looker. Come to think of it. I do believe this is a first. An all blue stock premium cable included with an IEM? I dont recall ever seeing that.

Speaking of the Volt, any updates on the Volt 2? It was said to be coming very soon earlier in the thread, but since then there's been no word. I loved the original Volt and would love to get a custom Volt 2 when it appears.

Actually I think the semi-official information was that Penon was working on a multi-driver, and a 4DD for before the end of the year. The Volt 2 thing has always been an interpretation of the community about which there has been a lot of desire, but the multi-driver they were working on could well be the Dome...

No I have rolled cables with Penon 10th Anniversary.

1. Stock Cable (OS133) - Silver Plated OFC
2. ISN C16 - Single Crystal Copper
3. PW Audio Monile Shielding (Anniversary Ed.) - Pure Copper

So considering the stock cable as the benchmark, what I've heard ISN C16 made the 10th too dark for my taste. Rolling off in the treble region. Overall not so resolving.
But I know it's totally unjust to put a PW cable inside. It's very clear of the rest cables I have. The treble region improves while keeping the bass exactly same as the way it should be. Way more resolving probably at peak for 10th.

I hadn't the chance of including the newest Linum Cables I got recently as I sent them for audition. Will update the post once they come back.

I have read review about the Oriolus Monachaa. Reviewer said that there are no unique impressions on 4DD. The Monachaa offers quite balanced tone and general sound less than our expectations. I'm going to go for the Quattro.
