Walked to the corner store in my PJs yesterday, trudged through about a foot of snow, was probably about -20 or -25.

I think it's hilarious when we Canadians try to one up each other for the cold :p

How did the snow stick together? Either you're really good at making snowballs, or snow is different in Canada...

It was around 14 degrees F with 50 mile an hour winds here the other day. That made it seem like it was well into the negatives. Oh well, I can't complain, the current temp where my gf's dad lives, Polebridge Montana is negative 15 F right now. I was out there in August for the first time and I have to say it's got some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen, but I don't know how I would like dealing with the amount of snow he gets with his house being at 4,500 ft. elevation.

We just had previous fire burn outs, so due to the rain, mudslides are popping up.

I live further north than most of you ( 59° 56′ 58″ N ), but still seems to be blessed with milder winters. Almost as far north as Anchorage, Alaska ( 61°13′6″N ) ...

Currently sunny, few clouds and -3°C. Picture below shot 10 minutes ago

The land belong to one of the local farmers, not me.
I live just 100 meters to the right from where I stand shooting the picture, up the hill a little bit with a view over these fields and the fjord below.
