There has been a lot of talk recently about the HRT Headstreamer II+ and Dacport LX as performing very well for portable USB DACs in their price range. 
 
I was wondering if there has been a lot of progress that these have made from older dac's like the pico dac from a few years ago? I guess the pico is only able to proces up to 16/44.1, but if you dont think you'll go much past CD quality for your music is there much of a step up in quality? 
 
Thinking of getting something around this price to go with my stepdance for my HD600s, what are the options?
