Anyone know how much the complete package price, Headphones+Amp+Walkman?

With the golden version of the walkman , probably around $7000-8000. :D

Didn't the new CEO of Sony say a couple of years ago that he wants to refocus the business on specific lines of quality high end products. He gave the example of Swiss watch manufacturers when the market was becoming saturated in the 80s and the top end companies decided to focus on the high end market rather than compete at the low end.

Nice to have Mark Wilder here. If memory serves, he authored/mastered a lot of the early Sony SACD's, so we have a great set of ears on this new Sony headphone. I'm rather excited

Looking at your collection of headphones it doesn't seem to take a lot to get you excited !

Sony needs to have a "Statement" headphone.
It's just a real shame that new engineering teams totally dismiss their roots with the Qualia & R10..

Still, I'm hoping they can come up with a winner,
Sooner or later.
:p

This is exciting. I love the MA900 and always wanted to hear the R10. So I am very excited for these :)

I'm interested to hear how the treble is tuned, I had the Z7 for awhile and liked them a lot but parted ways because I found them too recessed in that area. That and overall they weren't the most natural sounding to my ears. That bass though...
