All you have to do is sideload it, just choose the build with the appropriate resolution for your device. Works fine on my Galaxy Player 5.0 which is running 2.3.6, at the 800x480 resolution. Only thing is, can't use the database function, because everything ends up in there, not just your music folder. But folder browsing works perfectly.

wheres the apk file?

Yeah, it's actually pretty annoying that every single audio file in the phone is listed.

I just updated yesterday and it is still doing this. Annoying, yeah, but if you just browse by folder it's not noticeable.

I browse by folder most of the time, but sometimes I want to just randomly pick songs via the database menu.

Ok, thanks! is there a skin repository anywhere, as it doesn't forget the nexus 7 right.

There is a theme repo, but it doesn't cover the Android version yet (as it's still in heavy development). There's only one theme so far, and that is DFKT, but only for 480x800.

I've installed Rockbox on my Cowon D3 and it seems to be working fine, however the text is tiny and almost unreadable. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried installing different themes without success.

Galaxy S2 T-Mobile SGH-T989 with root. I got fonts to work. You will need root to do it though.

Download it here http://download.rockbox.org/release/3.13/rockbox-fonts-3.13.zip

put it on your phone. Extract it to /data/data/org.rockbox/app_rockbox/rockbox/fonts - there should only be one font in there.

next you have to use the shell. either through your comp or on the phone you use a terminal

su, go into that exact directory and do "chmod 777 *" without quotes which gives full access to every font in that folder

Now they work when I select them, before I could only select them but they would never take effect.

Having some problems with bringing the player back to the screen after it's been playing in the background. Loading a song while a song from the database was already playing same problem.

bye bye Neutron Player.

Code:
Device name. Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray Which version of Android you are running? Android 4.0.4 Is your Device rooted? Yes Any other information that you think may be helpful. Pausing and resuming playback via unplugging and plugging in the headphones works only when Rockbox is in the foreground Feel free to add any links to Builds or Themes as well. Latest version of dfkt minimum is 0.27 according to this thread: [url=http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=29103.0]http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=29103.0[/url] The theme can be downloaded from here: [url=http://www.mediafire.com/download/8yfr9p7s5iodqx2/DFKT_Minimum_480x800_v0.27.zip]http://www.mediafire.com/download/8yfr9p7s5iodqx2/DFKT_Minimum_480x800_v0.27.zip[/url] I'll post an update once I test Rockbox on the same device running Android 4.2.2
