Though I liked it at the time, I'm starting to waver a bit on my first impressions of the ending. However, that may just be that I'm a bit sad that the series is over.

I find myself hoping that it is all a dream or hallucination and that, to everyone's approval, Bioware will surprise-announce a ME4.
Doh! Spoiler tags don't work.

It's hard to like the ending. Mostly, it's easier to like the ending if you never played ME1 or ME2. In the end... well, they screwed over their fans. And in trying to forge something as being 'memorable' (Quoted by Casey Hudson, who is completely full of himself), they've lost a lot of fans and have taken that final step forward towards finally being a real EA company. Especially with that entire "BUY MOAR DLC PL0X" at the end of ME3.

I think it was after Jade Empire and ME2 that I stopped really liking Bioware games. After the entire Dragon Age 2 fiasco, it's been hard to not think they're coping out. I've had -some- fun with The Old Republic, but it's got such crappy gameplay. The production values/story/audio is the only saving grace, and even then it's hard to grind it out. If you were to combine the production values of Old Republic with the gameplay of TERA, you'd have the ultimate game.

So I feel like a dork for following this stuff, but the rumor is that there will be added content to the ending: free DLC or something along those lines. I'd feel a bit used if that rumor turns out, honestly. At the same time, I'd owe a nice guffaw to myself and everyone else for taking this stuff so seriously.

Would be happy methinks.

I don't mind DLC. However, their price has to reflect the content. The ME3 DLC is overpriced for the content. That mission is barely any bigger than one of the small fetch quests in Mass Effect 2. ME2's Kasumi and Zaeed DLC were noticeably filled with more content.

It should've been price at around $5-7.

You're not just getting a new character and a new mission, but also new costumes for every other character (which grants ability enhancements), a new weapon, a new bonus power, and new war assets. Plus you get small bits of storyline content regarding the new character throughout the rest of the game.

It was included in the collector's edition as well.

I got it in the Collector's Edition and found it to be a nice addition. There were a couple of missions which were enhanced quite a bit because of the character's presence. There was also a scene later in the game between the DLC character and another character which was quite interesting.

It would have been nice had it been in the base game, but I'm sure EA/BioWare had to budget for it. What can you do?

Playing this again. This time I'm doing a character where I basically screw everything up. Kind of interesting, but not all that different, so far anyway.

It takes every ounce of my willpower not to romance Specialist Traynor again, though.

What no love for Garrus? Although, I'm tempted to restart ME2 with my FemShep/Liara save from ME1 and romance her throughout 2 and 3 as well

I love me the girl-girl romances.

I think I'm gonna go with Diana this time, though I read you can have a proper romance with Kelly now. Choices, choices, choices!

I won't even go into what happened with Kelly. I screwed up, and almost rage quit...

I "romanced" Kelly in ME2, and Traynor in ME3 initial run. Me Femshep is too tough to not take the man's role. ;)

I will be romancing Diana on my Paragon playthrough, and probably Liara on my Renegade playthrough, if I can as femshep. I just can't see myself touching Manshep, lol.

They made it hard to mess with the romances in this game. In ME2, you could romance all options in the end. URGH.

Oh well, that's what Youtube is for.

I tried a ManShep character once. Didn't like it. His voice is so damn dull he sounds like a robot. Femshep has a much more human sounding voice. (Imagine that!)

Yet another reason why BioWare is one of my favorite companies. They loves dem some yuri, they do.

The same. I couldn't even finish my Manshep Paragon run in ME2. His voice bored me to tears. He has no emotion. Jennifer Hale is a goddess of voice acting. She should do (more) anime.

I just can't see Shepard as anything but as femshep. It makes a lot more sense to me, and I'm a dude.

You'd think the world would be tired of playing as the cliche military man. Especially since typical lead roles are 'Paragon' in nature. IF Manshep was a necessity, he's made to be paragon. I could see female leads as Renegades, since I don't see them putting up with any nonsense.

Bioware should have seriously updated the real default Femshep to look less generic. With a few tweaks (I play as the default ME1/2 femshep with a few changes), default ME1/2 femshep looks damn good.

I tried ME3 default femshep, and in addition to having issues with the proportions of her face (compared to her concept/box art), Jennifer Hale's voice doesn't match her face to me. XD

DAMN IT. My next few runs were gonna be on fresh files, but it seems the 'default' plot choices from ME1 and 2 are TERRIBLE, and killed off pretty much everyone that i wanted to see in these runs.

Looks like I'm gonna have to get ME2 and do proper choices... ARGH. I've played ME2 a billion times already, lol.

Yeah, default ME1/ME2 FemShep seems to give the best general face design, though it's tough to make a character that looks good in all scenes.

Sometimes my (second) Shep looks great:

Other times she looks off:

My new Shep seems to fair pretty well though, and my first was incredibly derpy looking, since she, for whatever reason, had a serious case of the lazy eye.

Yup yup. I've actually gotten to the point where I'm hesitant to play an RPG without some form of yuri lovin'. I'd love to see Obsidian do something that's a little more substantial on that front.
