Though I liked it at the time, I'm starting to waver a bit on my first impressions of the ending. However, that may just be that I'm a bit sad that the series is over.
Doh! Spoiler tags don't work.I find myself hoping that it is all a dream or hallucination and that, to everyone's approval, Bioware will surprise-announce a ME4.
It's hard to like the ending. Mostly, it's easier to like the ending if you never played ME1 or ME2. In the end... well, they screwed over their fans. And in trying to forge something as being 'memorable' (Quoted by Casey Hudson, who is completely full of himself), they've lost a lot of fans and have taken that final step forward towards finally being a real EA company. Especially with that entire "BUY MOAR DLC PL0X" at the end of ME3.
I think it was after Jade Empire and ME2 that I stopped really liking Bioware games. After the entire Dragon Age 2 fiasco, it's been hard to not think they're coping out. I've had -some- fun with The Old Republic, but it's got such crappy gameplay. The production values/story/audio is the only saving grace, and even then it's hard to grind it out. If you were to combine the production values of Old Republic with the gameplay of TERA, you'd have the ultimate game.
