Those have been out a while. I haven't heard any of them, but there have been a few favourable reviews from what I remember.

I jumped on this post, for a minute I thought by new sennheisers, you were heralding the coming of the hd700... but panic over...

what earbuds are $1000?!?

I thought the e888s were about the most expensive - anything above that is pushing it for buds.

These were released a few days ago -- the website has been up for awhile, but the headphones were first released this past week. I picked up the MX75. Nice, design, build quality and sound for an earbud, but nothing earth shattering.

Ultimate Ears UE10-Pro. While they aren't really earbuds (which I can't stand), they are close enough- canalphones (which I likey!). They cost between $900 and $1000 and are highly regarded. The closest you can get right now to that price figure is Sensaphonics 2X-S and Westone ES3's. Those are big dollar IEM's (In Ear Monitors)for ya. The good part is that good IEM's don't cost anywhere this much, but the best of the best do.

Save your money - get the KSC75 for <$15, it'll blow the MX500 away. I refuse to believe there exists a earbud (IEMs aren't earbuds) that is any better than the KSC75. Best value in all of audio.

This thread reminded me I own the PMX 70 Sport (won it in the raffle at the National Meet).

Time to break it in, listen, and post a review sometime, eh?
