I burned them in over 900 hours. They are sibilant still with vocals. If you listen to anything else you won't notice or say they are sibilant. The ONLY way I was able to get them to not be is to use triple flanges and do a deep uncomfortable insertion. They are acceptable then but then are super uncomfortable. I don't know where all the hype is from. Everything else they are really nice, Bass and Mids are well done and not bloated, clean and accurate.

i received my pair today. ive put some spiral dot tips on and they sound very good . no sibilance so far, i been listening to some modern classical and ambient , and some old live Byrds bootlegs, comparing with the Havi B3 pro1 , which are still my faves but these Vsonics stack up very well , AND no need for amping. i like them.

well , i'm not really at the mo ... so they suit just fine, ha ha
Listen to Sade "By Your Side" they will show you what they can do. I mean can't do. They are ok for what they can do and are better than most other IEM's in the price range, but they are far from HI-FI.

Sorry I never had or heard the originals. The HAVI are way more impressive to me. Not much they can't do or pull off.
