no difference. if there's a little difference, it lies in vocal presentation. s version might have bigger presentation. i did not felt any disadvantage.

I have them both, to my ears the VSD3 has a richer sound, seems like more bass. I prefer the VSD3 but both are great, at least to my ears but everyone is different and it depends on fit also.

I just pre-ordered the vsd3 red+blue non-detachable at LMUE.. (it's 47 USD) and ships out nov. the 30th btw.
 
I have the one plus one android smartphone. I need a solid music player that has a detailed EQ. I'm using double twist right now. so, I looked around on and found that people were recommending Power amp pro and Neutron player.
 
any ideas?
