You can not find any review of these IEMs because they are not even in production yet. The pre-order will start on June 1 but the delivery will commence on June 20. I got this information from the shop responsible for the pre-order.

AFAIK, no beta testers. Everything about VSD3/VSD3S is a mystery right now.

Strange, LMUE claims that the sound signature of the VSD3 is like the Westone 4r. My understanding was that the VSD3 was supposed to be Shure SE535 like and that the VSD3s was supposed to be closer to Westone. Anyone has heard differently? Any official confirmation from VSonic?

Didn't we have the engineering sample impression where the bass was "lacking". Not a surprise if they are in an attempt to be tuned like the 535. Not sure why they'd be that popular around these parts if tuned that way actually. Maybe domestically cause they seem to love Shure in China but I'm not very interested in that myself.  The VSD3S or VSD5 would be more for me if I where to give any of them a go.

Ok LMUE is confusing the...out of me. Now they claim that their preorder is for the VSD3s, not the VSD3. And that the difference between the two is that actually the VSD3s is the more balanced of the two, while the VSD3 has the stronger bass.

I just asked some Chinese audiophiles and they told me VSD3 will have the 535 sound signature while the S version will have the W4RC sound sig. This is also what the VSonic CEO claims.

From the VSD1 and VSD1S, the S has always meant more a more balanced tuning (slightly tuned down bass)
