Nope it doesn't. Both 535 and W4R sounded more different than similar.

I wonder who actually has the right information. LMUE is a VSonic authorized reseller, but their information seems to condradict what I have been hearing about the VSD3/VSD3S these last few months.

both will have similar sound signature as the 4r. it is just that one is more balanced (VSD3S) and the VSD3 has more bass. It is the same as VSD1 series

Well, good for you. I don't really see what the big deal is - during the manufacturing and tuning process a lot of things can change and I honestly don't care whether they even sound close to 4r or se535. It's the fact that  vsonic is making them that creates the hype coz they always deliver on the sq front.

Despite the hype and delays, I will say good on VSONIC for making replaceable cables and such a cool design at an extremely reasonable price. If the 5 and 7 are priced right, I very well may give one a go. Ultimately what matters more than anything is the quality of the product, and if these phones live up to the hype, it will have been well worth the delays.
