b3 is more balanced, better detailed, and better sound stage than GR07BE.

GR07BE is better bass, more musical, and more hifi sounding IMHO

Ok...thats more enough to get a picture of how B3s to GR07s.......its "gunnerwholelife"s decision now.....

As a matter of fact, Im itching more now to buy the B3s,anytime soon.:D

            or
Get vsonic vsd3s + havi b3 pro i. [red-blue vsd3s looks cool,can't stop dreaming about b3's SS]

Looking for something different than gr07be.

What would you suggest ?

Gr07be is a very good iem.Versatile and jack-of-all-trades.
Inorder to get an upgrade over them I guess I will have to shell a lots of $ and the upgrade may be 10-20% SS improvement and thus not worth it.
And looks like gr07be is going to be discontinued,so I thought I will preserve my pair as much as possible.
I couldn't afford the Altone 200's right now so I ended up getting havi b3 + vsd3s red-blue.

I was enjoying the vsd1's until someone stole them.Currently using meelec m6 for portable use.So I guess vsd3s atleast may be a good upgrade over vsd1 and m6.

Altones will have to wait for now.

Thanks a lot guys !

arrived yesterday from Singapore my VSD3S. the sound is a slightly better than VSD1S, sibilance is still here but everything is better balanced, especially basses have a very natural sound.

Girlfriend surprised me with an early birthday present, got me a pair of VSD 3S. Listened to some 5 minutes but don't have enough time for it.
All I can say is they sound amazing. A little flabby in the bass department and some harshness in the treble but nothing major.

Love it love it love it.

Well after using VSD3S for about ~50 hours now, I think it might have improved just a little bit? For example a song I was listening to with my old earphones and the first few hours of VSD3S had a cracking like noise, but now I don't hear it anymore

Does it scale well with amplification? Music with complex treble passages are too harsh and hot. Cymbals and electric guitar sounds broken. Playing through an iPod Nano.
Burn in first?

For me, 150 hours of burn in helps to smooth out the highs. Bass got tighten up a little and better midrange focus. Overall still on the bright side of my preferred sound sig. It still has a smooth and airy sound overall but does lack a little control up top. This are my own perception of what I heard and ymmw. I will say that there's no harm burning them in and see if it works out for you.

Btw, I'm running them through a clip zip.
