Head-Fier
I'm sorry, maybe it's just the ear pads that are worn out? Or has the headband really stretched?Ok, I see now. Mine pressed a little hard for the first 2 weeks or so, then they got more comfortable.

I think Sennheiser done good with the 560s and it's good to see a lot of people are able to get in to audio with such a decent entry point! You could literally call it a day with the way the 560s performs.I'm running them on a Modi+ and Magni Heretic stack, and I prefer them to the Hifiman Arya Stealth. I've tried really hard to manifest the added cost in my ears, but for the life of me I cannot. The 560s are just as good, and I prefer their tuning.
Its crazy that they are even close. I could see others preferring the Arya for sure, but its really hard to argue that these two headphones are far apart in performance. The 560s regularly go for like $170, and the new dropped price of the Arya SE is $899.
Sennheiser hit the 560s out of the park IMO.
They may soften a little, but they can't wear out in two week's time. I'm on my second pair of earpads, and I didn't experience the same pinching feeling I did when the headphone were brand new.I'm sorry, maybe it's just the ear pads that are worn out? Or has the headband really stretched?
Have you already completed the second stage? How far can they be stretched? For example: will the same distance between ear pads be maintained if the wood is removed? Why suffer ?
Put something between the cups (above), stretch them for a couple of days and you are good to go
This is stage 1 (in stage 2 the gap is significantly wider).

I've yet to try the 660s2 but I'm still enjoying my 600/650's, the 800s is way out of my reach rofl.
Depends on how far down the rabbit hole you want to go @danterikxx. I would say you could just stop at the 560s and IE300's and call it day!I've had my 560s for almost 2 years now, and i enjoy it very much. I only use it for gaming, and use the IE 300 for music
Since you have the 600/650, does it make sense for me to buy one of those?
I bought my replacement pads from this Amazon & Ebay seller. On Ebay, it shows the hd 560s pads as OOS, but on Amazon, they list the pads for the HD 400s, which should be identical. To be on the safe side, I'd try to communicate with the seller to make sure they're the same.Anyone know where to get replacement pads for the 560S in the US? Their store seems to be out of stock.
