where did you get that cable?
Hit up these people with a message, I've ordered plenty of cables from them and they are quite prompt! Although, Chinese New Year is coming soon, which they informed me they will be taking some time off!

Let them know what headphones and what length, connections you need! They are quite knowledgeable! They are currently looking into making me a 4-pin XLR cable for the 560s!

Hope this helps!

My 560 have gone back, I spotted a pair of the nice Ivory HD599 on THOMANN for £118.
They just arrived, did not have to pay any charges/Tax.
They sound the same as 560 but a bit more Bass.

Well to me they just sound a lot more Musical.

I have them (well, the SE version) and i feel the same about them when compared to the other headphone i have, the AKG K702

The latter is a lot more detailed, more space, more soundstage, but the 599 sound so pleasing

Very relaxing and involving

Im trying to find a direct upgrade for them with the same tone and sound signature

From my understand no charges are due since the new Brexit regulations if the value is under £135

You should check that very carefully, I'm pretty sure it's not true.

"HMRC has announced that it will abolish the LVCR with effect from 1 January 2021 and are proposing to make all imported goods up to £135 in value liable for domestic VAT rather than Import VAT – thus shifting the point where VAT is collected from the time of importation to the time of supply to the customer." https://www.blickrothenberg.com/ins...nsumer-sales-purchased-from-overseas-sellers/

This is what it says for headphones, on the government website, with no mention of a £135 limit anywhere:

"Goods are subject to Value added tax (20.00 %)."

Interesting. I was told this information by fedex directly, so I'm sure they're in the know when it comes to customs charges. I asked them why I wasn't charged on my import and they said it's because the value was under £135

I wasn't asked to?

Shouldn't they be holding at the border if they're collecting tax? Every country I've lived in you have to pay customs fees before the package gets released, so if it gets delivered, you don't owe anything.

Interestingly, I've ordered a few things off aliexpress to Europe, and it seems they're tricking the system by holding it in the Netherlands for a few weeks before delivering it to the country of destination
