"The New" Fiio X3 with USB DAC

Thinking about it, it could be pretty darn cool if the x3 had supported inline volume control and pause/change tracks like most phones do. Not that I am to complain at all.

some users connect the LO to their audio device and have problem about the distortion, it is because the lo level of X3 is about 1.7v, and the amps just can't handled high level signal input.

maybe we should decrease the output level of the LO to 1.5V ( the LO level of iPod is 0.8V and the standard output level of most CD is 2.0V )

BTW, some of our customers are helping us test the firmware and the new firmware should  be released on 15th, Oct.

Thank you...

So... this means X3 is perfectly capable of sending excellent quality sound to the car stereo aux, just need a little tweak?

by the way, my stereo has 4v. from the amp pre-outs, which is connected to an amp then to the speakers. Would that be enough to drive the X3 perfectly without any tweak ?

i don't see why 1.8v into a pre amp should be a problem, as you point out its lower than a cd player.
