If I may ask, the second had something special going on? Or all the differences between versions narrowed down to squashing software bugs etc. ?
According to Soo In:
"There are only two versions and you can tell by the speaker connectors. The first production lot with the Cardas speakers were sold out too soon than we initially expected, and there were certain components that were no longer available or required a thousand minimum order quantity. We’ve decided to update/upgrade from the second production that it will get 50% increase in power supply reserve, more optimized/faster input buffer design and better components (WBT connectors and Mundorf wirings)"
I assume software updates were also addressed and V2 came with the new remote control which is built like a tank as well as the vibration isolation stands as standard issue.
There was a proportional price hike from V1 to V2. Although both sound magnificent, V2 would have better results with speakers I would presume.

Quick dumb question though, the feet came with some squishy discs. I assume those are to go under the isolation feet (aka between audio rack shelf and the feet)? I guess I can't think of anywhere else they could go as they do not have a screw hole in them, but for my own piece of mind wanted to make sure I was not missing something.

I've learned through this thread that they are indeed intended between the feet and whatever you place the amp on so you don't scratch anything with the metal and for friction so it doesn't move (it's very light so even connecting and unplugging headphones can move it)I guess I can't think of anywhere else they could go as they do not have a screw hole in them, but for my own piece of mind wanted to make sure I was not missing something

version 2 will still be in production

If I may ask, do you use it with speakers by any chance?I own a version 2 it punches way over its weight class.
